End-to-end encryption for confidentiality
We understand that data security is about more than just availability. The confidentiality of our customers’ information is paramount. That’s why WeDoBack uses rigorous encryption throughout the backup process.
- Encryption during transmission: All data in transit between your systems and our servers is encrypted using advanced security protocols. This ensures that no one can intercept your data as it is being sent.
- Encryption at rest: No data is stored on our servers in a readable form, so your data remains encrypted and inviolable. Even in the event of unauthorized access to our servers, the information remains unreadable without the appropriate decryption keys.
- Secure encryption keys: As stated in our password management policy, WeDoBack keeps no record of the passwords used by our customers. If passwords are lost, we can only reset access, which results in the destruction of the encryption keys and associated data. This is a strictly necessary compromise to guarantee maximum security.
