The agent is a key element of WeDoBack. It ensures communication between our servers and your equipment. It is required on any device (server, computer) for which a backup or disaster recovery plan has been configured. It encrypts your data before transmission and performs the operations you have configured in your management console. Outside the SMART offer, only one agent is required per server or computer, regardless of the number of services subscribed to for the equipment concerned. As part of the SMART offer, the agent deployed is reserved for this offer. Adding an additional service or option will require ordering and deploying a new agent.
