WeDoBack: A secure, redundant backup architecture to protect your data in all circumstances
For our backup services, we have designed a robust, distributed infrastructure to guarantee optimum protection of our customers’ data, even in the face of the most severe outages.
This infrastructure is based on a server architecture distributed across several cities and departments. The aim of this geographical distribution is to :
- Protect against local hardware failures: In the event of hardware failure on one of our servers, our redundancy system guarantees the continued availability of your data.
- Protect against local incidents: If an incident (or disaster) occurs in a specific region (fire, power cut, flood, etc.), your data remains accessible.
- Ensure complete data redundancy: Every file, database or piece of information backed up via WeDoBack is stored on several servers simultaneously. This redundancy not only prevents data loss, but also ensures rapid recovery in the event of partial or total failure of a data center.
Each of our infrastructures is supervised in real time to enable rapid intervention and guarantee a high level of customer satisfaction.
Last but not least, our infrastructure is not static: it evolves and spreads across different geographical areas to maintain a high level of availability and protection at all times.
In compliance with the RGPD, the data of our customers located in Europe is stored only in Europe. In the future, it is planned to deploy other infrastructures in new geographical areas so that every customer (regardless of country) benefits from the same level of service.
